Residential conveyancing
Our strong residential conveyancing team is highly experienced, approachable, skilled and efficient. We specialise in cross-border and international transactions. We provide services covering all mainland Spain, the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands. We shall provide you with an explanation of the process and outline the steps to be taken, from the initial stages of obtaining the title deeds and drawing up a draft contract on your sale, to completing the transaction on your behalf if you do not wish to travel to Spain. Buying property in Spain
The work to be conducted shall be:
· Liaising with the vendors’ solicitors and estate agent.
· Making the necessary searches regarding the property.
· Drawing up an Arras contract (if appropriate).
· Drawing up the Deed of Purchase.
· Coordinating appointments with a Spanish Notary Public.
· Making the necessary arrangements in order to pay any outstanding taxes.
· Liaising with the Land Registry until the client is provided with a valid marketable title.
Selling property in Spain
The work will involve:
· Liaising with the buyers’ solicitors and estate agent.
· Drawing up the Contract of Purchase and Sale and making the necessary arrangements for its completion.
· Liaising with the Land Registry to ensure the registration of the Deed of Sale.
