María Rosa

María joined us in November 2018. She is now Head of our Family and Litigation Department. She is a qualified Spanish Abogado and Registered Foreign Lawyer in England and Wales.

María specialises in cross-border matters and cases with an international element within the Spanish and English jurisdiction. She assists clients with a wide variety of matters, including, divorce and separation, choice of forum and jurisdiction disputes, financial claims, pre and post nuptial agreements, all private child law matters, enforcement of foreign orders in Spain; and personal injury claims such as road traffic accidents in UK and Spain, fatal injury claims, hotel accidents and Package Travel claims. María has a Degree in Law from the University of La Laguna and she is a member of the Madrid BAR. She successfully concluded a Master’s Degree in Legal Practice from the University of La Laguna.

María is fluent in English and Spanish.

Before joining Alberto Pérez Cedillo, María worked as a trainee for two years for a Personal Injury and Family department of a Spanish firm.
